The "Classic" range of Falcon shock absorbers has been developed to make the best use of the limited amount of rear suspension travel allowed on bikes of this era.

Based on the 32 mm bore, these dampers have a maximum travel of 4 inches (100 mm), on lengths of 12.5 inches or over. Shorter lengths have a travel of 3 inches (75 mm).

Damper lengths from stock vary from 11 inches, (280) centres, up to 17.4inches, (442mm) with 41 different lengths in 0.25 inch(6mm)steps. We can even lengthen or possibly shorten shocks at any time after purchase so that the right length is always available for your motorcycle.

The basic range is constructed from steel, lightweight aluminium shocks are also available but sizes start at 12.9 inch centres for 4 inch travel.
On a pair of 13.4 inch aluminium shocks, you save nearly 1.5 lbs, (0.6 kg) in weight.

The all steel shock absorbers are finished with satin bodies, and the aluminium units are clear bright anodised. Both types are supplied with springs finished in either chrome plating or powder coated satin black depending on the manufacturer
