Having been in the business of manufacturing high quality shock absorbers for competition motorcycle over the last 35 years, we have been asked on various occasions to make dampers for industrial applications.

The specification on the design was first of all to build a dependable damper with a long service life and to operate over a large temperature range. This spec was ideal for the requirements for the Broadbent washing machines and we can now supply dampers for the 210 and the 350 models complete with shock mounting rubbers if necessary. Over 97% of the components used to make the dampers are sourced from inside the UK.

Spare parts for the dampers as well as complete units are always in stock for us to be able to respond as quick as possible to orders. Our dampers are fully rebuildable for servicing or repair, helping to reduce running costs on the washing machines. The design has proved very adaptable and it can be used for many other damper applications. Any design modifications to the length, stroke or mounting sizes can be carried out in our factory, keeping any delays to a minimum.

Our customers include the NHS, maintenance companies holding stock for repairs and laundry companies who fit the dampers themselves.
